Christele Harrouk is a French-Lebanese architect and urban designer based in Beirut, Lebanon, and currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of ArchDaily. She joined the platform in 2019 as a content editor and advanced to Managing Editor in 2020, where she shaped editorial strategies and fostered partnerships to inspire, connect, and empower ArchDaily’s global community to contribute to a better built environment. Passionate about highlighting the role of women in architecture, Christele works to empower future generations of female architects to reach their full potential. In a conversation with Julia Gamolina, she shares her personal mission and ArchDaily’s vision, encouraging early-career professionals to resist the urge to narrowly define themselves.
